David's book gives an overview of a few of the super foods which one can incorporate into one's diet. He gives detailed information on each super food he reviews.
He's left some important ones out, such as the Chia seed.
Bearing in mind that David is coming from a vegan and raw perspective, the commonly regarded super foods, such as quinoa and others, are not mentioned. Possibly because they are conventionally cooked. However, many of these seeds can be sprouted to eat.
In this book he does not explore the sprouting arena at all. 50% of what is on your plate should be sprouted seeds to eat.
Nevertheless, there is a lot to learn from his book "Superfoods" - it is illuminating reading.
