Whole Foods London on Kensington High Street.
Three floors of Whole Foods Market - always busy, always vibrant.
I'm hoping the print is large enough for you to read.
An historical time line of organic food production. I'll photograph the whole wall next time I am there.
Here's a review I read online:
You Londoners are SO amazingly lucky to get the *best* Whole Foods market that I've ever seen. I live in the States and regularly shop at two of the Whole Foods markets here in Los Angeles, and have been to others in Texas and Seattle, Washington. None of them compare to this one.
First of all, it's located in one of my fave London art deco structures - the Barker Bros. building. I have loads of fuzzy and fun memories of the club that used to be on the roof in the 80's. Wild.
This particular Whole Foods has *three floors* of wonderfulness. We were renting a flat in Kensington a couple of years ago, and would bring back major quantities of the prepared meals, fresh fruits and veggies, those massive and amazing chocolate chip cookies, wines, cheeses ... yeah, we were *those* Americans. :) Let's just say that there were many restaurants untried on that trip - we all just enjoyed meals with our friends in that wonderful flat. Yes ... it's true ... shopping regularly at Whole Foods will burn a hole in your wallet faster than a blowtorch. But foodies will want to readjust their budgets to accommodate accordingly. If this is too dear for you, I'd suggest the Waitrose on Gloucester Road, near the tube station - very wonderful, but nowhere near the quality of Whole Foods.
